What to expect on your kick off call

This is a quick article to help you get the most out of your kick off call. The kick off call is where you are introduced to your project manager.  This will be your point person through every aspect of the project. Your PM will go over the scope of the project, and talk about your goals for the website.  Then you'll discuss some of the tools we will be using as well as what we need from you. 


Basecamp: Project Management

Basecamp is our online project management software.  This is where we post all of our design concepts and content.  Basecamp allows every member on the team to collaborate and view the project as it progresses from beginning to end.  We will spend a few minutes getting your account set up.


Zoom: Remote Collaboration

Zoom is a software tool that allows us to share our computer screen with yours.  This makes it easier to share ideas so we can get the most out of our calls.  We will spend a few minutes getting you set up with Zoom.  You can read more about the software at


Weekly Calls: Project Momentum

The weekly call is an effective way to make sure that everyone is on the same page and the project is moving forward.  We will choose a time based on your availability and use the call to give you updates on the project and get your feedback.  We prefer to schedule the call the same time every week to keep the project momentum.  


Client Requirements:

There are a few things that we need from you in order to get the project started.  Your project manager will go over these with you during the call.

They are:

Your restaurant logo - High Resolution PDF format

Your Restaurant Menus in PDF format

Your Domain name log in credentials.



How do I figure out my domain name log in credentials?

Your domain name is your websites address. For example  You or someone from your company likely purchased your domain through a registrar company like Go Daddy or Network Solutions.  If you would like to use an existing domain name then you will need to provide us with the log in credentials of your domain registrar.   If  you currently don't have a domain name, you will need to purchase one.
